do swan eggs taste okay

I don't know ab eating them but I'm an egg artist and would love to get some infertile swan eggs.
I have arrangements with some of the other folks here. I'm paying for packaging and shipping and in return they are receiving some of my art work.
I'll be happy to share pics if you like!!!
Melissa! :)

My aunt gave me 6 mute swan eggs and 3 peafowl. I thought she was bringing goose eggs and peafowl.
She brought them over in a cardboard box covered in towels. When I pulled the towels back I could smell one of the eggs was off. I removed the stinky egg.

I only have 1 incubator and I am in the middle of my second hatch (ever). There is very little information on hatching swan. 1/4 turn every 3-4 hours, 65-75% humidity and 100F, mist with warm water once a day. My very limited experience will most likely result in the remaining 5 eggs failing. That said... I would be happy to mail the eggs out. My aunt loves decorative stuff and was wondering. Would you take the 6 shells and mail my aunt one ornamental egg?

As for shipping and storage... was considering drilling a 1/4" hole in the base of the shell and emptying the egg(s) before they exploded or cracked.

Right now I have 13 Barred Rock chicken eggs, 3 peafowl eggs and 5 mute swan eggs in the incubator.

I'm sorry I thought I responded to you but I think I didn't hit the send button.

I would love the swan eggs but would there be a possibility of using a smaller bit to drill the whole? We use one that is a little bigger than an 8th of an inch.
Let me goggle the other eggs will be back-m

The b. rock might be too close to size and colors I already have a lot of- ab how big are the peafowl? Turkey sized?

Chicken egg - peafowl egg - swan egg.
Sorry for the picture quality, my son broke my good camera and though my camcorder can record video in HD it's still pictures are only 1 megapixil.
Swan eggs, 4 1/2" x 3" green speckled eggs, There are 6 and after trying to blow rotten egg out of a 1/8" hole by mouth...

Flushed them out with water/alcohol too because of the smell. Don't think they were fertile or they were sitting around way longer then she/I was told. Day 1-3... nothing should smell that bad.

The peafowl eggs are on day 7 and not stinky. They are a little bigger then the jumbo eggs my one Barred Rock hen lays. No off smell and still a little early to candle. Not sure if they are fertile either though. She has two peahens and two peacock (one juvenile) and has not witnessed them breeding but there is breeding behavior. Will ship Tuesday/Wednesday
