I just helped harvest a friends rabbits with a hopper popper! Easy and not too scary. It is painless for rabbits. I was wondering, does it work the same for chickens?

That makes sense! Thank you!I've seen some say they use them. If I were going to use one, I'd mount it very low, perhaps even on a board wide enough for you to stand on. As I'm sure you saw with the rabbits, you want to be pulling at a 90 degree angle, and chickens are longer than rabbits, it generally works better pulling up from the ground.
I feel like the hopper popper company DID sell one more geared for chickens, I'm not sure.
This is helpful, thank you!I have a Rabbit Wringer (similar to the Hopper Popper) and don't find cervical dislocation via this method effective for poultry. I prefer removing the head with shears - virtually error-proof.
