Can anyone confirm this? Anyone want to take a stab at sexing it?

An amber-link is a sexlinked cross. Ergo, she'd have to be a pullet. Often aggressive, and generally a very good producer of brown eggs, but I can't tell you anything else—I just got my first one this spring.

EDT: Interestingly enough, she shares space with three gold-laced Wyandottes and one silver-laced.

I had no idea they were sex-linked! That's a huge relief. And yes-- this one pecks at any other chick who is higher than her on the brooder perches. Thanks for the info!

I apologise. I have just distributed false information. Amberlinks are sexlinked (sussex x RIR) and so are Amber Whites, but they are not the same bird. Amber whites are (Rhode island white x RIR) and are less placid than Amberlinks, according to Google. They are not nearly as flighty as other sexlinked breeds.

Oh thanks for clarifying! That helps my research endeavors. I wonder if this would still mean it's a pullet?
