Awe, chinchillas are so cute and fun to watch. I had a few of them years ago.
They need lots of run around room. I had half a room devoted to them. Haha.
They need to take dust baths, so be sure to get a dust house for them. I like the enclosed ones so it kept the mess down.
they love chewing! So give them plenty of stuff to chew too.
They like to go in things, so give them huts and houses.
And the more shelves the better!
We rigged three cages together to give them space all the way to the ceiling and they loved it.
