Does season affect maturation?

I am now figuring that 4 of my flock are at about 19 to 20 weeks old- 1 Leghorn, 1 EE, 2 Production Blue. As the days are getting shorter and the weather colder and wetter, I am wondering if egg production will be delayed. I think that their wattles have stopped getting any redder, which is what spurs the overarching question of whether the shift into winter day length and weather affects the maturation of my hens? TIA.

Sometimes hens don't lay until they are older if they would have been the age to start laying when the days are short.
