Does this vent look normal?

This light Brahma chick just came in the mail yesterday. She had a very pasty butt which I cleaned off. While cleaning she pooped a lot but the inside looks very very red. I’ve raised 20+ chicks and have never seen a vent this shape or red like hers.
I’ve cleaned her gently and added some neosporin.
She’s otherwise behaving normally but continues with a little bit of the pasty butt today. Not nearly as bad as yesterday though.

If she acts normal, she should be Ok. But if you see any other chicks bullying her, definitely separate her.

It's likely a small prolapse from straining to poop. Keep it lubricated with the ointment so it stays moist, that will also help keep droppings from sticking. It's likely from shipping stress. If it continues to have trouble pooping, then feed it some coconut oil, you can freeze it and break it into tiny bits, that will help if it's constipated.
