So recently I’ve been searching around for some new breeds of ducks like cayugas, Indian runners, etc... And I came across this website called the Rare Breed Trust (link http://rarebreedstrust.com.au/public/pages/poultry ), it has info on rare breeds and such. This is the result from a 2017 survey.

Breeds of ducks that are at risk:
-Australian Call Duck
-Campbell Duck
-Indian Runner Duck

Breeds of ducks that are endangered:
-Rouen
-Crested Duck
-Silver Appleyard
-Saxony
-Pekin
-Orpington
-Cayuga

Breeds of ducks that are critical:
-Bali
-Pommern
-Watervale
-Abacot Ranger
-Magpie
-Black East Indian
-Welsh Harlequin
-Elizabeth
-Rouen Clair
-Aylesbury
-Blue Swedish
-Mallard

Also this is how they are placed in their rarity:

At Risk <500 Breeding Birds
Endangered <200 Breeding Birds
Critical <100 Breeding Birds

How do you feel about this? Also what are your ducks rarity’s?

yes. The ducks I want are Pink-headed Duck or at least thats what the place I want to buy from calls them. They are critical in danger and decreasing :( The ones I want is $10000 for one breading pair, so I'm not getting into that...

Pink headed ducks look like they are ornamental non-domestic bird like swans (also 10,000 a pair for some breeds), the ducks on that list all look like domestic ducks. "rare" or "threatened" for them isn't the same as rare for a non-domestic bird. Domestic ducks over all are not in danger of going extinct but the breeding pools for some particular strains may be smaller and buying them help encourage the breeder to keep breeding those strains.
