There's a cat coming into my garden that I cannot trust with my chicken or a stray that I have been helping for many months.
This stray cat and my chicken gets along really well and hang out together ❤️

The domestic cat keeps interrupting our little set up, he is driving away this loving little soul, who has been sleeping in a area i set up for him.

Tonight Amori has been driven away again and has now gone onto the road tired and exhausted, instead of settling into his comfortable bed.

This domestic cat has even got inside my chickens coop. It's a miserable situation ever since he arrived some months ago 😕

The stray I have named Amori and I hope to get him over the fear he has of my elderly dog but I know this will take more time.

Do you have like what we have in the states...Humane Societies? I would catch the offender in a pet carrier and take it to them.

Otherwise, is there an animal control officer or department that once you have it in a cage, they would come get it?

Thanks so much 🙏 💓 but the problem is I know the people a little, their parents are very familiar with me. :(
I'm afraid that can cause problems 😕. I was thinking of a pea gun 🔫

How I wish my phone was working for me properly. It's playing up now I have an urgent request for help and I can't for the life of me find a way to link this into other threads

Since you know the owners, is it possible to ask them to keep their cat contained so that it doesn't cause problems?

If not, then a water gun would be my idea as well. A little spray of water every time it comes over should be enough, I think
I've just inboxed @Debbie292d and Debbie thank you 😊

Thanks for coming back to me I appreciate any advice
I will go to these people tomorrow and also write a note incase they are not in.

This brat cat, almost attacked my dog while we were walking, my dog is going blind and is infirm.

He never would defend himself. So there's no possible chance of him surviving any form of attack. This is seriously a fragile situation.

@fluffycrow

I'm off to ebay. Thanks lovely. A water gun it is. 👍

There are people that could seriously hurt that cat if he's not careful.

There are tiny dogs here in our neighbourhood plus people trying to grow vegetables and beautiful flowers. They are not going to put up with this.
