Ok, after a spat with the hub, I did the only thing I could think of to do in my state of mind....(payback's a *itch).
I set almost three dozen eggs....

Now I wish I could remember what day I set them...

HA HA. Well I don't have an incubator, but I drove off and happened by the feedstore.... Fast forward a few weeks later and DH is getting up about ten times in the night to check on the peeps on their first night out of the garage. I guess I'll keep him.
Maybe your husband knows when you set the eggs

Now CC, I think if you recall the candling rules you will figure out a date that is close enough for you to decipher a time of arrival and the setting date probably within a couple of days as well.

Knowing that at 7 days after set and candling that you can see veins.

At say day 14 you will see the darkness of the chick.

At near day 20 it should be black with the chick inside.

Oh and btw good fortune on you hatch.

PS isn't the suspense a killer lol

ROFLOL....oh yessss,,,this sounds like my house! My hubby wanted me to wait 3 more months till we move into our new house with more land before getting my eggs/chicks,,,,,did I wait?........ummmmm NO!
He always comes around though and will end up loving the babies as much as me! I guess he's just thinking he doesn't want to have to clean the pen but I would never make him do that,,,,,now would I?!
