Dropped my duck Bill

I feel like a terrible duck mother! I dropped my baby boy Bill. I went to put him in the pool, and the way I had him plus him flapping his wings and trying not to fall caused me to drop him. He seems find but he also ran from me when he seen me! And the other ducks were very upset! any suggestions? There isn’t any vets I could take him too. (Picture is not from today)
