D'uccles

Hi, I have 2 d'uncles and I wanted to know how heat hardy this breed tends to be? Mine are show quality so they have the bull neck, full muffs and lots of feathering and have big single combs.. I found my hen really hot today (she had just layed an egg and the coop gets hotter than outside) and am hoping they are good in heat.

ETA: Are d'uccles heat hardy?

I don't have d'Uccles, but I would tend to think they're not that heat hardy, judging from all the feathers they have. There are many ways you can cool your coop and run down, the key being ventilation. I see you're in California, so I assume it gets pretty hot there. Hopefully someone who actually owns d'Uccles will chime in soon!
