Duck egg incubation

Hi! First time trying to incubate a duck egg my son found near the pond and brought home! I’ve been trying to figure out if there is a blood ring and if it’s still alive or not! I’m not getting too much info from the internet of the pics I have taken! If anyone can give so info that would be great! Incubation day was feb 17th!

Thanks for the notice! I told him as soon as he brought it home he should have never touched it! He is only 10 and was concerned because the egg was by itself!
