Went to put my babies in the hut for the night. Buttercup was in the pool as usual but I noticed that she REALLY struggled to get out of the pool when I opened the pen gate. I noticed right away she was off because she is usually very spry and loud and was neither of those and seemed to have maybe a slight limp.
Took her inside and put her in the bath for a swim indoors so I could watch her. Sure enough as the bath is filling I notice her not putting a ton of weight on her left foot.
No cuts or injury that I can really see. I can't tell if it's swollen either but if so only a little. She didn't react heavily when I was touching her leg and foot.
She's paddling with it and can walk but she's favoring the other foot to do most of the work so I think it's just a sprain or something. I can tell she's hurting though because she should be quacking her face off at me begging for treats and she's not making a peep.but she is drinking well and eating fine.

What can I do to help her feel comfortable and recover?

Any advice would be helpful- especially if it helps reduce vet bill.

If you have any leftover Metacam that may help her with pain. But like @cheezenkwackers rec rest, water therapy and some B complex can all help get her back up and going if it's a sprain. Always help them in and out of the pool or have something for them to easily get in and out.
