I don't own any ducks, but from what I've heard from others, ducks tend to have particularly large, liquid-y dumps. Especially when compared to chickens. Is that the general case in y'all's experiences? If so, why do do ducks have these sort of feces? And is this a running trend with all waterfowl? Just genuinely curious, and Google wasn't getting me very far in answering my questions...

I'm careful with baby ducklings because if you squeeze them even the tiniest bit, they have a strong tendency to burp water from their crops on you. I doubt it's good for them, but they seem happy when they've just ingested half their weight in water, so I don't argue.

So basically the general consensus is their poop reflects how much water they drink being well, waterfowls? That does make sense. Thank y'all for answering my question :)

And color of poo has a lot to do with what they eat, say Mud is brown with lost of water and green is plant material with water mixed in feed can be yellowish with water mixed in. Get my drift. ;)
