My duck* loves hanging out on a huge concrete back patio, so naturally the drains filled with duck excrement and other organic matter rather quickly. Especially with all the housing that must be done regularly! In my past pre-duck life, I’ve used some kind of chemical crystal purchased from Lowe’s which was supposed to loosen the clogged drain as water/rain flows through it….. but that didn’t work that well anyway. I’ve read a lot about trying baking soda and vinegar but these drains are well past that. What is this I’m reading about caustic soda? Doesn’t sound very safe to me. Willing to try it if it works though, because these two drains are the only thing standing between a bad thunderstorm flooding my downstairs in minutes. Thanks!
