duckling has some peeling on its stomach. What could it be?

Hello everyone, i've been raising a little duckling, it is 3 weeks old and lately my duckling has been poking its stomach and peeling the baby feathers on it, i dont know if this is normal or what. Could anyone tell me what could it be? I'd aprecciate it a lot since i'm kinda scared that it could be something bad. Thanks!

I believe this is normal.. Ducklings grow in their belly feathers first, which is usually wet and prickly for a while.

Also, how come you only have 1 duckling? It’s much easier and kinder to raise at least 2.

Thank you so much, also i only got one duckling because we rescued it, we found it when it was 2days old and kept it warm and with company until now, this duckling is clingy and receives a lot of attention at all times, also i got little dogs in my house that are friends with. I'm thinking of getting another duck in the future but for now i can only take care of this one only.
