Duckling

Hello my fellow animal lovers. We have found a baby duckling in the road trying to get it going. Its only a couple of days old it's still trying to get it's footing. I need to know what's the best thing to feed it to get it big and strong like I would love it to get. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys have a wonderful day.

If the duckling is that small, it not only needs feed but a supplemental heat source. I would get a waterfowl starter feed like Mazuri. Please feel free to post pictures of the duckling.

Hi! Your best bet is to contact your local wildlife rescue as having a wild duck is illegal in many places.

In the meantime, like DobieLover said, appropriate food and heat is the most important.

Thank you for rescuing the little guy! As mentioned above, he will need heat to survive and it's probably best to contact your local wildlife rescue service to properly rehab the little one.
