Ducks Free Ranging with Chickens?

Hello-
We have 8 hens and 1 rooster who free ranged. We were given a pair of jumbo pekin ducks a few months ago. The last couple days we have had them all free ranging together which seems to be going fine. But I'm getting very mixed opinions on if it's a good idea or not. Does anyone have their ducks and chickens free range? If it is a bad idea, are ducks happy to stay in a coop and run? They seem to love exploring!

Are the ducks male or female? That will make a difference.

One male and one female.

A drake can injure or kill a hen trying to mate with her, and he will try. He has body parts hens are not designed to accept.

I have all female Indian runners, and they free range with my chickens.
