Hello,

It’s been ten years since I’ve last owned chickens. I got these chicks through a local breeder and he’s pretty great. However, I’m struggling with sexing these Easter Eggers, can you help? Thanks!

Hen or Roo? One of my EE’s has a really weird checkered color pattern too. They are around 12 weeks right now. Thanks!

By the feathers,,,, I see mostly all rounded. That indicates hens.
Also on EE's they can sometimes be sexed by the width of their comb. The cockerels tend to have wider combs. If the combs are about the same width,, then another indication of all hens.

WSHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

Buy a lottery ticket, all I see are pullets! The only one that MIGHT be a cockerel, is the partly white one with red shoulders. But don't quote me.
I think you’re talking about the Salmon Faverolle, those are really easy to sex as chicks because the cockerels have much darker coloring and it’s really obvious! They do look good with my EEs though. :)

I thought Salmon Faverolle but didn't want to say bc I always mess up the spelling, lol. I had a couple SF-based EEs once and they were really pretty.
