Hi! I’m looking to see if anyone has any pictures of their standard Easter Eggers next the following… or if no pictures, can you tell me your standard EEs size compared to any of the following: Australorp, Wyandotte, Polish bantam, silkie, d’uccle, or Cochin bantam.

thank you!

I can get some tomorrow :) I have two EEs and two bantams to compare. One bantam is a Cochin, the other is a silkie.

Thank you! I have bantams, a Wyandotte and an Australorp. I’m looking to get something in between these sizes, and I think EEs would be a good choice but wanted to make sure if it seems like a good fit!

Different breeds of bantams can be different sizes. For example, I've seen a bantam Easter Egger that was larger than an Old English Game Bantam. (Yes, Easter Eggers can also come in bantam size.)

Yup! My 14 week old Dutch Bantam girls are TINY. The 6 week old GLW chicks I have already are bigger than them.

Hi! I’m looking to see if anyone has any pictures of their Easter Eggers next to any bantam chickens (preferable Cochin, d’uccle, silkie, or polish bantams), AND/OR Easter Eggers next to a Wyandotte or Australorp.

thank you!
I got 2 female EE chicks to keep my Mille Fleur d'Uccle chick company, but they're 8 days older than it. The EEs are 2 weeks old and the d'Uccle is 6 days old. Will that help?

Keep in mind that EEs can be made up of a variety of parentage, so there's no actual breed standard to determine what they look like or how big or small they are. Like both of my current EEs are on the small side for standard size birds, but my previous one was bigger.

As a general rule they'd fall in the middle between your Australorp and Wyandotte and your various bantams.

If the concern is mixing breeds being a problem due to size, it shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't have any super aggressive birds and have ample space for all the birds plus extra for integration.
