One of my Easter eggers laid her first egg 8 days ago but none since. Is this normal? We are first time chicken tenders so still learning. My barred rock laid one the same day and has laid 3 others since then.

Yep, that's normal. Some new layers will lay and then not lay for a while. Just be patient with her

We are in the city so they have our backyard. We’ve looked. They were out in the yard the day she laid that one but she walked back to the nesting box to lay it! I’m hoping that continues
