Hi,
have you ever had the egg of your flock tested for nutrients, contaminants, or others? The question popped up on my local next with someone concerned about them free-ranging chicken in a lead-contaminated area...

best,
sarah

You can contact your state AG dept or state university about testing your soil. Both can do that here but you'd have to tell them in advance you want it tested for lead or something else specific. Otherwise, they do a much more thorough job than home testers.

We have a home version but that's more for PH levels but I see that Amazon sells a plethora of lead testers. That's the route I would go.
