I was getting 5-7 eggs a day.
This past week I only got 4 eggs a day and today I got 3.
Any idea why they are not laying as much.
They hatched June 4 so they are not that old.

Its Because They Are A Seasonal Layer--- The Need At Least 14hrs Of Light A Day To Trip The "lay Eggs Dummy" Button In Their Brain. This Is The Most Likely Cause--- Mine Have Been Dropping Too. Unless You Changed Feed Or Something Else Like That I Beleive Its The Daylight Hours.

If they make it through USPS they can make it through anything.

I ordered chicks that was supposed to be here today & they were a no show.

mine have done this too i have 13 hens as well and then i was getting at least 10 eggs a day and then it dropped down to sometimes none to maybe 3 and then i found out they had avian pox and they had over 2 weeks and now are laying 5 to 6 eggs a day. maybe they are having an early molt or i really cant say. could they be hiding them?

DOH! STUPID MAIL! DO YOU HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER? I'D FIRE IT UP AND SEE WHERE THEY ARE.... (PROBABLY SITTIN AT THE POST OFFICE...)

I have a 4' x 8' pen thats 4' high.
It sits on the ground with no bottem. My wife insisted the hens live a more natural life on the ground and not on wire.
They have been doing really well and they look healthy.
I also have a little bird house inside I built for them to lay in. 18"x18"
Some times they all lay in it sometimes they dont.
It has been raining a lot in the evenings here. So it's looks a lot darker 2-3 hours earlier then normal.
