I saw something on Pinterest that said if you feed your chickens expired yogurt you would get more eggs, is that true? and is it safe to feed chickens?

Egg production depends on age, breed, general health, and the time of year. So long as they are healthy they will lay eggs at the normal rate for that specific bird, yogurt makes no difference other than being a good healthy treat.

Besides, getting a bird to lay more eggs than it normally would is not healthy for them.

What they are saying is it provides more protein and calcium and can make your eggs better quality and it's very healthy for your hens but it does not make them produce more eggs.

Yes, you can feed your chickens expired yogurt as long as there is no mold or anything like that in it.
