Anyone use this to wash feed and water containers weekly?
I have it for my parrots and thinking it’ll be a good idea to incorporate in my poultry as well...
I also use mango pet focus to wash bird cages... it’s good at getting poop off things...

I wash my feeders and waterers about twice a year.
Dish soap and hot water for feeders, just a good rinse for waterer as it's closed with nipples.
If products are safe for parrots they are probably safe for chickens.

Oh it’s definitely safe... it’s used at zoos and by vets

I guess the biggest thing to worry about is germs for babies..
I’m making my waterer with nipples today- got the stuff from amazon yesterday

Chicks?
I used to put a chunk of sod from near the run in the brooder at about 1 week to acclimate the chicks to 'chicken germs'. Now I brood them in a coop section and separate run one week after hatch.
In other words, I don't stress much about 'germs'.

Drill holes carefully...here's some tips, in the 3rd paragraph:

F10 sc can be used in a nebuliser to help animals with breathing issues. It is sometimes helpful.

I have used it with ducklings that seem like they're having minor trouble breathing. For example, one of my duckling aspirated a bit of something and was breathing a little off, but it was quite young and I didn't want to start antibiotics. I used the nebuliser with diluted f10sc solution three times a day for ten days and it was just fine after that.

Excellent article!
Thank you
And I guess I only worry about germs with my parrots and shouldn’t with the chickens...

Really, you don't need to do this. Chicks eat from the ground, drink from puddles, there is absolutely no point in 'sanitizing' their feed bowls or waterers. In fact, they need to ingest some crap to help build immunity to some of the minor problems they get from the various bugs and pathogens they encounter in nature.

I clean my waterers and such once a month with white vinegar and water. I put ACV in my waterers so it stops bacteria and such from developing in the water.

I wouldn't worry about germs with chicks. They need to acclimate to their surroundings and they'll be eating pretty nasty things outside. I would honestly give them dirt and not worry about germs.

If it makes you feel better to clean everything every week then I would use it especially if it is used in places like the vet office and zoo.
