I’m trying to understand the f1 and f2 gene in Oliver eggers. I hatched these two from my Oliver hen and rooster. Would they lay olive eggs since I’m guessing they are f2

F1, F2 aren't genes. They're more like generations.
An F1 is a first generation cross of a blue egg layer and a dark brown egg layer.
If done (imo) correctly the blue egg layer will have two blue shell genes. The dark brown layer will have two non blue (white) shell genes and then multiple brown coloring genes.
The F2 offspring would then all have one blue egg gene and one white egg gene. Then multiple brown coloring genes.
When you cross the F2 each could give either shell color gene so 1/4th would have 2 blue, 1/2 would have 1 blue and one white and 1/4 would have 2 white. All would get some brown color genes since there's many of those genes involved.
Blue is dominate to white so any with 1 or 2 copies of the blue gene would lay green eggs. 75% green 25% brown.
Depending on which and how many brown coloring genes they get will determine if they're more olive or just green colored.
Now back to the beginning. If your F1s were created from an Easter egger type chicken it could of only had one blue gene and some of its offspring may not of gotten a blue gene.
I assume you set olive eggs to get your F2s so the hens had a blue egg gene but since roosters don't lay eggs he may not have. IF that was the case then about 1/2 of your F2 produced chicks could lay brown.
