Fat African male, or surprise female goose?

Not sure if it matters but, the sure female has peach colored feet, the unknown has orange feet.

Also, the injuries broke the skin but hardly, so it wasn't enough for organ damage.

That's so good to know. Here's the definite female on the right, and the unknown gender on the left. Took this pic just a week ago and realized the egg pouch isn't hanging near as much as it is now.

The one on the left has some of the true African in it orange feet and brown in color you can see the thicker chest and a well developed dewlap along with the wider flat head all traits of the heavyweights the one on the right looks like one of the better production Africans I used to have. much more compact thinner higher angled neck more grey in color all of mine had pink feet. Nice birds.

Thank you very much!! Yours are so pretty as well. Side view of the goose in question. It's quite a learning experience for us, but we take as much good care for them as we can.

How is she/he feeling overall? No change? More sluggish? Eating normally?
Pretty active! Eating and drinking normally, running around with the other goose flapping wings. No changes that I can notice. There appears to be a nest next to the other one now, not sure if that's from the other goose or could be moving it.
