Favaucana advice?

I recently ordered two Favaucanas from My Pet Chicken and I LOVE them! They're so pretty and unique, so different from the rest of y flock lol. I was wondering more info about them, since they're a designer breed. Anyone own any of these pretty birds?

I just ordered a Favaucana from My Pet Chicken too! Mine won't arrive until late October. I have been searching for more information on this designer breed as well so I hope you don't mind me tagging along for any information you may find. They look to be beautiful birds!

We have a 1 year old Favaucana that we adopted from another family. They had ordered her from My Pet Chicken last year. Gray came to live with us because she is very LOUD. Her previous family was rehoming her because heir neighbors were complaining about how loud she was.

She is a lovely bird with a quirky personality. She lays a lovely sage green egg about 5 days each week. She is VERY talkative and if we didn’t have 10 acres her carrying on would probably get annoying. She gets along well with everyone and isn’t bossy or mean. She loves foraging and is first out the coop door for free range time.

Not the best picture but she is the gray one in the middle. I will see if I can get her to hold still for a better picture later.

Hello! I have two of these arriving soon and I was wondering how is your experience with them so far? I am a total newbie, they will be two of my first 6, so I am quite nervous about it all! Could you also share some pictures, please?

Hello! I have two of these arriving soon and I was wondering how is your experience with them so far? I am a total newbie, they will be two of my first 6, so I am quite nervous about it all! Could you also share some pictures, please?

So far they're great birds. One of them is sweet as a favarolle and the other is more bossy like an amereucana. They're fluffy as can be as well. I don;t think you have much to worry about with your favas.

Hi! I have a favaucana also and I was wondering if you can tell me when all of yours laid their first eggs?! Mine is 30 weeks and we are still waiting! Thanks!
