Favorite chickens breeds

My most favorite chicken I have ever had was my Buff Brahma Boots. She was so sweet, the ultimate lap chicken.

Individuals can be so different from others within the same breed that I tend to ignore a lot of the traits that are said to come with them, besides obvious common sense stuff like Wyandottes are good winter breeds because small comb and large size. I even have a sassy small silkie that is top of the pecking order and lays 6-7 eggs a week so she is quite different from your avg Silkie.

Moira (White Silkie, sweet with humans but top of pecking order and gets all of best treats when she wants them)

Pinto (beautiful Spotted Sussex but not bright, bottom of pecking order)

Uncle Baby (Silkie Rooster, not show quality see straight comb) ((cat pretending he isn't afraid of chickens))

JR jr (Blue Laced Golden Wyandotte, Moira bosses her around even tho she is much bigger!)
