Female or male? (wellsummer cross silkie)

Hi,
I have incubated 8 eggs- 2 ducks and 6 chickens. But unfortunately only 2 of them hatched the rest died unfortunately. Anyways, we are left with 2 beautiful chicks, 1 silkie and the other wellsummer cross silkie. And we think the silkie is a female for definite however unsure on the wellsummer cross. Wonder if anyone has any idea?

Silkies are notoriously difficult to sex.

Beautiful birds! Yes Silkies are difficult to sex. Generally you need to wait and see who crows and who lays an egg.
