Just wanting to confirm that these are not fertilised yet huh. We have had our older quails for 2 months now so they will be about 4 months old. Trying to check fertility rate but still don’t seem to be. They are so hard to see compared to chicken eggs 😂

Can you determine fertility from a non-incubated egg? That would certainly simplify things! Especially when you don’t crack them all open on day 3 and end up with four currently on day 13…yes, I have a problem! And I know you’ve done the same😉

A fertilized egg will have a faint white ring around the dot on the yolk.
 
Looks like it to me. You can see the difference between yours and Parrot_mum's eggs.

Edit: I could be wrong, since I do not usually use this fertility test. I have been wrong before.
 
Yes cracking some open up until you see many fertilised has been the best way. Would be easier to do it without breaking but that would be near impossible 😂 we have a few fertilised when opened but others hard to tell.
