So I’m kinda freaking out… I want the best hatch rate for my shipped chicken eggs. So I want tips, info, and incubator settings (what should the temp be? What should the humidity be? How often should the eggs turn a day? Is there anything I have to do other then turning them fat side up for 24 hours?) I’m just scared I’m going to mess up and my eggs aren’t going to hatch. Please help me out because it’s my first time hatching and everyone tells me something different when I look it up. I just want the best for my eggs 🙏🙏🙏

I saw that you are freaking out but since the date of your orig post, I'm guessing you were able to figure everything out?

I just had my first 2 chicklets hatch this morning (yaaayyyy!) and to answer your original question, my incubator was set at 100 degrees, 50% humidity and the eggs were automatically turned every 2 hours (I couldn't figure out how to reduce this! Even emailed the manufacturer who never replied to me.)

21 days exactly later and I have 2 out of 4 hatched so far.

I have 13 guinea fowl eggs 'rolling' right now too but they have another 7 days to go. I'm still freaking out myself!!

Hope you had success!!

So since you're incubating shipped eggs, you want to put them pointy side down in an egg carton for 24 hours and then put them in the incubator. The shipping tends to detach the air cell, so keeping them still will help the air cell reattach.
Temperature for chicken eggs is 99.5 degrees F. Humidity depends on who to ask. I keep mine at 60% until hatching. On hatch day, I raise it to 70%.
If you are hand turning, turn 2-3 times a day.
Also, since they were shipped, don't expect a great hatch rate. It's not your fault, it's just lowered because of the shipping process. Expect 50-60% hatch rate.
