I knew it was coming but I didn't know it was going to be this bad. 🪰 What can I do to keep help with fly control? I can't even sit on my front porch without a fly landing on me every half a second. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻🙇🏻‍♀️🐔

clean, clean, clean. Look at changing your coop cleaning practice. Going from letting it sit for a week to installation of poop trays with PDZ and daily cleaning means no more fly's in and around my coop. Fly's do not like Sweet PDZ.
Still have not tried PDZ, good to know it helps with flies. Can this be sprinkled in the run and yard too? The coop itself isn’t a problem.

Those yellow sticky traps also help. When we have flies bad I use those and the stinky ones too. May smell like death but they do work really well. The sticky ones also catch gnats and other flying pests not just the flies.

Hang numerous fly traps near the coop but down wind so they don't inhale those nasty chemical fumes and yes, it does smell like death. There are always more though since they lay hundreds of eggs. It's unfortunate chickens don't eat them or they would have a smorgasbord. :)
