Not that I can tell. The chickens go for them when they rise every time they find them. They leave all of the not winged ants alone.

Full on Bok Bok Bok from Dakota today. She was disturbed, because I left the chickens room to go get her some steak. She wanted me to stay right with her, and not step out for even a moment. But she’s still a no touch hen.

Actually, I found out that poor Dakota isn’t feeling well. Maybe too much wild water. Maybe she ate something that isn’t agreeing with her. She’s in the coop tonight, because I don’t want to keep mopping up her mess.

I figured... she's one of my favorites too. Some storybook sample pics for my Sunday kids... they loved the Disney-esque drawings... I always put animals in the pics but couldn't figure how to incorporate chickens in a palace
