I have 4 beautiful young pullets, 6 months old and just beginning to lay. They should have a long and productive career of laying ahead of them. I got them as day-old chicks from McMurray, they were shown at the South Florida Fair and won blue ribbons and trophies for Best Pullet and Reserve Pullet.

They'll be great for someone wanting to start a flock with ready-to-go young hens, or to add to your laying flock. I've done all the work of raising & feeding & protecting them up to this point, now they're ready to go to work for you.

There are 2 Ameracaunas, one mostly white and the other brown with gold feathers around her head & neck. They're laying pretty green pullet eggs now.

There's also a White Rock laying brown eggs, and an Ancona, black with white spots, who lays white eggs.

These are such fine young ladies I'm asking $30 each for them. I think they're well worth the price, it's like paying $1 a week for someone to raise your chicks to this great condition for you. Also, Mister is out of work, and I really need to get the best price for them. We're in western West Palm Beach and I might be able to deliver them to you if you're nearby, or make arrangements to meet you part-way.

I look forward to making a transaction with you.

It sounds like your Ameraucanas are actually Easter Eggers. I dont think you can get true Ameraucanas from hatcheries.

Hello Halo,
McMurray Hatchery lists Araucana Bantams and Araucanas/Americanas. In the description they also call them the "Easter Egg Chicken" and also say "our Araucanas are recommended for egg laying color and ability and not for exhibition". So maybe this proves your point, or maybe it shows the exception to it. I don't know, just thought you'd be interested to know.

Now that I think of it, the 2 Americana pullets I'm selling were bought as day-old chicks from our local feed store, which buys them from some hatchery which calls them by that name, not Easter Eggers. Even if they're not authentic Americanas, they sure are laying pretty green eggs!

Hello, are your birds still available for sale? Can you please tell me how to best contact you? I'm looking for some layers for my mother.

Thanks,
Lisa
