Hello, new to posting here but not new to lurking the forums. I've posted about my hens and predicament in my state thread, so leaving this here too.

I've been battling some type of tropical mites in my pen and coop since Helene brought rain in that flooded the pen area, but my options are limited with the community cats around and the source likely being the greater amount of wild birds being fed in the areas around me. I unfortunately don't think I can keep up with the price of biosecurity, nor the price tag for managing these bugs longterm to keep my girls safe.

They are healthy girls at seven years old and were still laying eggs before their fall slow down, I'd like to find a No Kill home for them that I can visit from time to time and even pitch in with food/treats etc when I do.

Also yes, the eggs are blue-green but have gotten paler as they've gotten older.
