Frizzled NN hen or roo?

I have the gorgeous little frizzled naked neck baby and I’m struggling to sex it. It was hatched first week of may. I was pretty sure it was a pullet due to lack of wattles but the reddening is throwing me off. lmk what you think!

Hmmm with the reddening I vote cockerel but no wattles makes me lean pullet!!!! Keep us updated!!!! LOL

It was hatched the first week of may, So 4 months august 1st. I’m leaning pullet only because I have a full sibling as well as he’s 100% a boy. He has a much larger comb and very pronounced wattles and saddle feathers already and has had them since about 8 weeks.

This baby I had written down as a pullet bc it has no wattles and the comb was small and pale and there was nothing that resembled hackle or saddle feathers. Until about a week ago it started to get more red.

Ah, okay! At that age I would lean more pullet. Time will tell though and frizzles can be tough!

Thank you, normally I wouldn’t care so much, but I have a sizzle hen and I don’t want to risk this frizzle being a rooster and get frazzle babies

Thought this would be an interesting update. This guy indeed turned out to be a rooster. He developed into a gorgeous young man with an awesome mowhawk. Definitely was slow to mature and just started to crow last week. He’s about 6 months now and is still a total sweetheart.
Since I have frizzle hens this guy is for sale.

Wow thanks for the update, what a handsome guy! From the first pictures I was leaning towards pullet, especially since he had a fast developing brother. He turned out so handsome though!
