Gamefowl Rooster Comb Type

Any idea what comb Type my game rooster has? Thanks a lot! These are the best pictures I could get so far.

It looks like a modified pea comb. Basically one parent had a pea comb and another had a single comb.

Yeah, that's a heterozygous pea comb, otherwise known as a modified pea comb. The gene is partially dominant over single combs, so birds that are pure for the gene get the three-rowed combs that are shorter and closer to the head, but those not pure for it get something that looks somewhat in between a single comb and a pea comb in shape.

A strawberry comb is more like a cushion comb but kinda bumpy. This bird's comb is too tall and floppy for that.

Just wondering where genes come from? I have a light Sussex hen who produced chicks by a dark Polish cockerel There were four cockerels and one hen out of this hatch. All of them suddenly decided to roost up an apple tree, although Mum and Dad roosted in the hen shed. The chicks had been raised in a coop. What made them do this?

Pictures would help to confirm this, but Polish x Sussex would give you a single comb from the Sussex with a partial splitting from heterozygous duplex V-comb gene from the Polish. That could be somewhat reminiscent of the OP's bird's comb. It's possible that's what you're seeing in your birds.
