Not a start of a cabin but a 20x16 raised garden bed build. Going to be approximately 3 to 4 feet high then holes drilled for T posts and fencing around the top to make approximately 6+ feet high, will have a gate centered at one end with a centered bed as well. Only got 3 logs in place, as I got overheated really fast today for some reason. Matching up and moving logs by size for each level is a bit difficult but should work nicely in the end. Using all the cedars I dropped and a few more to still come down. Daughter says Im allergic to Deet, I soaked myself to keep chiggers off.

Nice! 3’ paths is a good width. 3’ wide beds are also good. I have 4’ wide beds and I need to access both sides because my arms aren’t long enough for a 4’ bed.
Yeah my wife is short (5'2") she will just have to dive head first to get the backside LOL Its funny that she took a Master Gardeners course and is Certified but yet she cant grow anything to save her life. Ive never had problems growing oddly. Now My son can outgrow anyone, Momma and He planted the same tomatoes in the same garden ( at our old place ) and his grew 5X's larger than hers so she asked what he did differently? He said He gave them love and talked to them LOL it works !
On a good note, we are planning to do canning and be self sufficient as food prices are going nuts. Need to build some pens, as I was offered a free pig and goats.... but nowhere to keep them yet.

That’s great!

We started our garden in 2018, but revamped it after a couple years. We have a large garden and chickens. We’ve had quail and rabbits in the past, but not right now. We don’t have enough space for any large animals though.
