My girls love when I work in the garden. They chirp and get so excited, they just KNOW that any minute I will be throwing them a worm or grub. My fruit and nut trees are all in bloom, figs are starting to show, sunflowers are waking up, and my first tulip has popped up to say Welcome Spring!

How are you all doing out there this first week of Spring?

Here in Southern California it is hit or miss for the next few months. Foggy and damp mornings and warm, dry afternoons. Keeping an eye on all of my seedlings day by day for awhile.

Just discovered your thread, nice!

I'm in eastern NC, zone 8a. Technically our last frost date is about April 15th, but I will plant some things early, and cover if we have a frost warning.

I planted Summer squash today:

My flock chuckles when they see me working in my gardens because they often get fruits of my labors, like grubs or worms or wild strawberries.

You do the same thing I do! LOL I take pics constantly and this is the only way I can remember what I planted and where.
