Gender?

New to turkeys!! So if you have any advice, that is welcomed!! I have two white baby turkeys!! I got them from tractor supply they are probably 2 - 3 weeks old.. Any idea on gender??


Here's the first one.....

. Sorry it's a bit blurry, he/she wouldn't cooperate!! Lol

This one shakes its wings, every little bit, is that normal?? I have a video, but I don't know how to get a video on here!! Lol . If you want to see it let me know and I will post it to certain people. I know how to do that, but just not publicly.




The second one!!

. The left one . It's not as good of a picture as the other one..

. This one cooperated better!!

This one has strutted around the other one a few times also for the past 3 days. I have a video of that also , if you want to see it let me know..

Way too young to sex from pics. Try again at 3 to 6 months old.

If you can't wait that long, there are at least two sites that will DNA sex them either through feather sample or blood sample. The last I checked the price was in the $20 to $25 range.

Both male and female poults are capable of strutting at a very young age. At that age it is more of a dominance thing.

White poults from TSC are most likely Broad Breasted Whites meant to be processed by the time they are 6 months old..
