Hi people! I want to get NPIP certified niw that it’s spring and people have been asking me for hatching eggs from out of state, but I was wondering how hard it is. I am going to research but I wanted some first hand experiences and how do you pack your eggs? Thanks!

NPIP is a national program but administered independently by states so how hard it is depends on the state you are in.
Here in MO it is very easy and for the basic P/T test it is free. Other tests are available at additional cost. Some states require AI testing as well.
You'll get all the information you need from your ag department.
As for packing, I've seen all sorts of packaging but I think the most secure is in foam egg shippers in reinforced boxes.

I think you call the FL department of ag and then they'll come test your birds for free.

I haven't shipped any eggs yet but I was going to wrap them all individually in bubble wrap and pack them in a flat rate box with tissue paper.
