Took some pictures of my new chicks outside at their new (to me) coop today. Hoping they are all girls, but the little Salmon Favorelles has me questioning everything. The blue-laced red Wyandotte is also a big question mark (got it straight run), but probably too young to tell. Let me know if you see anything!

4 week old Easter Egger
2 week old BLRW
7 week old Buff Orpington
7 week old Olive Egger
7 week old Welsummer
7 week old Crested Cream Legbar
3 week old Salmon Favorelles
3 week old Cuckoo Marans

Let me know your thoughts!

The Faverolles looks female right now. Generally they're easy to sex once chest feathers come in - males should have black chests, though some females (especially hatchery birds) may have black leakage too.
Thanks for the input! The chest is feathering in mostly white but there is one rogue dark feather and the feather shafts on the chest are kinda dark too. Confusing.

Still on the brown side vs. black, which would be male. You'll have a much better idea in coming weeks!

For reference my SF hen at 3 1/2 weeks old. You can see some darker leakage on the chest but her primary color on wings is salmon.

Ok, what is you secret? How on Earth did you get them to stay still?

Here’s some updated pics of my salmon favorelle from the weekend (so about 4.5 weeks here). This chicken still has me so confused on gender!
