Help!!!! I castrated my only intact male back in Oct. I really thought I had made it through without a pregnancy-- I have 4 goats and they are simply pets. Well went to do their hooves today and noticed that 1 (only 1 ) of my girls now has teats and her vulva seems swollen or maybe just enlarged. I DIDn't plan for this --I honestly don't want this- but .... I'm doing my reading- one question - among a 1000- -Can my girl be separated from the other 3 during this? When?? I'm assuming I need a separate place for her to kid in. Boy I'm scared. I will have a Vet check her.. but in the meantime. Any answers?

He must have got her before you castrated him. How far before well that’s the question.
When I raised goats before I never separated them. But I did have 2 different shelters in their pen that they could pick from.

Keep in mind all goat does have teats, not just pregnant ones. but, If her teats and milk bag are large/full that means she's pretty far along, she might even give birth within the week. Separate as she's in labor, and keep her separated with her kids for a couple of weeks. Some people don't separate, I don't think it really matters. don't be worried, goats were made to do this! Be excited! I've tried getting my goat pregnant SO many times with no avail. Watch videos, educate yourself on goat birthing, and you should be fine!
