When I bought a group of chicks at 1 week old I picked them up in pairs. 2 BOs, 2 buff brahma, and 2 Gold Laced Wyandotte. They are all supposed to be pullets. I've been noticing that they are all growing well and getting unique characteristics but I can't figure this one out. My two gold laced gals have very different combs. One has a single row (just like my BOs and brahmas).

And the other has a double row kind smooshed. I assume this is what the rose comb looks like?? See below.

Either way I know that they are distincly different from one another. Is there a possibility that one is developmentally behind the other? or one has a defective comb? Please let me know.
