Gold laced Wyandottes

Hey everyone, my apologies as I’m sure this question has been asked a million times. I’m a newbie and getting started. I have two Easter eggers and two gold laced Wyandottes. They’re roughly 4 weeks old. The two GLW’s, I’m wondering if one is a cockerel or not. Thoughts?

Too early to say. Wyandottes aren't supposed to have a single comb like the one on the right so that's the visual different

This thread may be better suited for the Breed & Gender forum. Also, they are far too young, unfortunately. You'll be able to better tell at 4-6 weeks.

Tough thing with Wyandottes is they're hard to sex because females can pink up early too. Nothing in the photo says male yet.

Thank you! They came from a nursery and were supposed to be pullets. Anything to watch out for during the next couple weeks to identify?

You'll need to wait until they start getting more feathering in, and then try to get clear photos from the side and top to evaluate the coloring and marking in the feathers.

Thanks! The picture I posted was from a week ago. Despite their quick growth, the one in question doesn’t look much different.
