Good chicken coop for 10 or more chickens

I want to be the first to say that my experience is limited (as to years, 5) and that individuals of different breeds are individuals.
That said, in my experience my Buff Orphs were not the best at exploring and trying new foods. My Sussexes, Austrolorp, and Sapphire Gem are all very human friendly and curious, making them good free rangers. The Sussexes and California White are very responsive to voice while my Barnies, just laying this fall, couldn't care less if I call to them.

I built mine myself because typically the prefab coops/runs are cheaply made and super expensive. There are some great build plans on BYC for you to browse. A lot of people even provide free plans.

Good luck!!
Hello! I was wondering were you got your plans to build your chicken coop? I was looking on Etsy but was wondering if there was somewhere better? Also was wondering about how much it cost for all the supplies when you built your chicken coop? Just wanting to see if it would be a little cheaper to build your own coop instead of buying one. I am planning on getting 13 chicks so would probably want one that could fit 15+ chickens. Thank you!

I mixed a few plans I found here and just tailor-made as I went along. I don't have plans, myself.

If I were to do it again, I'd probably just find an old used shed on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist. All you'd have to do it add roost bars, nest boxes, and cut out some extra ventilation. Always go bigger than you think you need!
