I think my one goose, different from before, has a blockage of some kind. She's not a year yet but will be in May.

She's been having diarrhea yesterday night but I noticed this morning her trying to push and her vent pushing out completely. She has mucus or something coming out. She also has a slight cough and shakes her head or stretches her neck. She has lost her balance and has a wide stance.

I have her soaking in a pool of vitamin water (that I'm guarding from the ganders) but she's just sitting unresponsive and keeps trying to push. She's normally extremely feisty but she just let me pick her up. She was completely fine yesterday.

Can you feel her abdomen? Does it feel like there’s a big hard lump in there? She could be egg bound.

Soaking her is a good idea, just make sure the water is nice and warm.

Offer her some more eggshells and see if she’ll take any.
She's spasmed in the water and has a seizure of some kind. She's still alive but coughing and I have her in a tub of hay. I don't know what to do but put her out of her misery. I'm worried it'll spread to the rest of them

Are there any lakes, ponds, wetlands in your area? Any wild waterfowl around the area? Have there been any HPAI outbreaks in your area?
