Anyone on this board ever run into anyone in the US that breeds Gould's wild turkeys, has access to eggs or breeding stock?
I would love to have a chance to work with this subspecies. Sadly so far the only access I have found is for hunts in Mexico. Nothing against responsible hunting at all. If there are enough birds to support commercial hunting operations one would think breeding stock would be available. Also that would help protect this subspecies against extinction yada yada.
Please post a reply, PM or email me if you have any useful information.
