Gourds?

I got a bunch of decorative gourds with the plan to feed them to my flock, then read that a lot of decorative gourds are toxic to humans. But I can't find if they're safe for chickens. I know there was a post earlier about a similar thing, but it seemed to be focused on bumpy pumpkins, instead of funky gourds.
Should I skip the decorative gourds, or are chickens tougher than humans when it comes to this?

Following, I hope someone answers as I have been offered free gourds before. My chickens do eat all kinds of pumpkins & squash but never tried gourds.
